BAUDELAIRE

In 1987,  Joe headed overseas in search of artisanal companies who created soaps,  and body-care products based on the authentic local traditions of formulation and fragrance. He was convinced that many Americans would be as enthusiastic about high quality, natural products as he was.  

Before too long and after many grand adventures, Joe was in the business of importing beautifully crafted European products for the benefit of an appreciative niche of the American public.  Baudelaire was born and its evolution continues today.  Although many new brands have been added, some of those original artisanal companies continue to supply Baudelaire decades later.  

In addition, new partners in creation have been added to the Baudelaire family, including some on this side of the Atlantic. Baudelaire's evolution, some thirty years later, continues today with a facility switch to solar power, among other changes.
