Mango wood is typically used for making small wooden articles in India and the bark is usually discarded.  Himalayan Trading Post’s Endurance Candle Bowls have been pieced together with reclaimed tree bark pieces collected from seasoned renewable mango trees.  Each rustic Endurance Bowl is rimmed with recycled mango wood tree bark and is lined with a metal plate to ensure safe burning.  Due to the nature of hand piecing the containers, each candle will vary slightly in appearance.

Himalayan’s Endurance candles are hand poured in Georgia, by their experienced candle makers, with sixty-four ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil.  Their distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia.

Beginning with the design conception by Himalayan’s staff, their vessels are individually created by artists all over the world. Every candle is crafted in small batches in their studio, by artisans with meticulous attention to details from mixing of the ingredients, hand pouring the wax and adding the handsome leather dustcover.  This candle should give approximately fifty-five hours of burn time.  And, as with all their candles, the Endurance Bowl can be reused once the wicks have burned away, and it has been cleaned out, or repurposed as a decorative container for your table, counter or desk, to be used time and time again.
